Bryan Singer to direct Superman?

The new rumor is that Bryan Singer and the writers of X2 are now going to be making the new Superman movie for Warner Bros. and that the old script has been completely thrown out. If true, he is going to be making "Superman Returns" before X-Men 3.

First good news I've heard about this Superman movie in awhile.

Yeah, a week or so ago, news got out that one of the producers had had lunch with Singer, offered him the job, and Singer said he'd think about it. I would love it for this to come to fruition, as long as Singer has some say in the script.

Also, I hope they bang out X3 first. A couple of the actors already have said in interviews that they are planning on heading back up to Canada in March or May to begin filming... cant remember which month exactly...

Ok, so I just read the new article at aintitcool

aintitcool's track record has been foggy -- not really the most trustworthy of people

but if all that is said in this article is true? its going to RULE -- the only thing left to worry about is the casting -- other than that, if the aintitcool article is true, this WILL rule in so many ways

Not sure if this is completely true, or what exactly it is they're planning to do with it, but at least it won't suck now, and that's all that really matters.
